The annual tradition of Halloween stems from a pagan series of festive rituals.
But let’s be honest, most of us take part anyway mainly to have some fun, treat our kids with sweets and chocolates and help them bring their fantasies to reality by dressing them up in scary costumes. Most of the time we end up laughing more than shrieking with fright. Curious, I’ll be watching a re-make of Fright Night tonight (I think it stars Irish-born actor, Colin Farrell) but seriously though, I don’t think it will be anything close to the original which was barely scary anyhow. They don’t seem to be able to make horror movies like they used to.
