Beyond fun brought by traveling with your family, lies the incredible chance of making memories which is treasured forever by you and most of all, the kids. Studies show that people who spend money on vacation instead of on things tend to be happier in the long run. Undeniably, it is priceless to see old photographs with happy faces in beautiful places—memories made and remembered through the years. Vacations could be expensive but then, there are other alternatives from which you can choose. It might simply be a nature trekking or an outdoor camping with your kids or going back to the basics by visiting your relatives in the province. Your kids will surely enjoy nitty-gritty things like tree climbing, river bathing, horse riding, etc. giving them the chance to experience active outdoor activities rather than being glued to the television or online games. Yes, indeed it is fun. More fun without spending a single peso.

I love traveling and because I do not have any children my husband and I have taken our niece on 2 long trips. She was 9 and 10 at the time and we had so much fun with her. She had her own bunk bed in our trailer and visited about 8 states. As a child we went camping and the memories are always with you.

I couldn’t agree more! I have fond memories of vacations that my family and I took, as I hope my children do!
